BIOGRAPHY

Fred Prelle is the President of Capitas Financial of Houston, Inc., and a partner of Capitas Financial, Inc.

Fred has received GAMA’s Master Agency Award, Lincoln’s President’s Trophy and Sun Financial Group’s Agency Achievement Award six times.  In 2015, he received the Woodson Award from the Society of Financial Service Professionals.

Fred Prelle has been in the financial services industry for 45 years.  He earned the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant degrees from the American College.  In addition, Fred is a former president of the Houston General Agents and Managers Association and past President of the Houston Chapter of the Society of Financial Services Professionals.  He is past president of the Houston Business and Estate Planning Council and a member of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting.  He is a member of LIMRA’s Research Agencies Group, the Houston Estate and Financial Forum and MDRRT.  Fred is also a board member of Boys and Girls Harbor.

Fred received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Trinity College.  His hobby is racing sailboats on Galveston Bay.  He and his wife Ellen, have five children and live in West Houston.
